rHIPS.b is made from 100% waste materials, utilising a range of used items like old yoghurt pots, and the inside of fridges to name a few and then transforming them into useful products.

This means there is no virgin material is used and no deforestation needed to grow so called ‘eco’ materials.

What is even more exciting is the rHIPS.b is Biodegradeable

rHIPS is 100% recycled and biodegradable when in natural environment. It is made from recycled polymers (which include our suppliers own waste products) and a biodegradable additive, that speeds up the natural biodegradable process of plastic. Biodegradation testing in line with ASTM D5511** showed 6.4% biodegradation after 45 days of testing when in the correct environment.
